Hello all,
and thanks for visiting my Celebrity Attitude Site.
I am presently conducting a fieldwork anthropological study into our interest in celebrity and how it finds its way into our lives.
As part of the study I will be interviewing editors of celebrity magazines, producers of so-called celebrity TV and conducting a personal Superceleb Me experiment where, instead of eating MacDonalds Supersize burgers every day for 3 months, I am (god help me) reading every celebrity magazine on our shelves every day for 2 months to see how it affects me physically, emotionally and mentally.
Most importantly, I am asking you if you would complete the Celebrity Survey below.
It was originally introduced by eminent US psychologists in 2002 and has subsequently been updated and modified by Dr Maltby of the University of Leicester.
There are no right or wrong answers and it's not like a Cosmopolitan Magazine Quiz where mostly 3's means you will hold out and marry the man/woman who looks most like your favourite celebrity!
It is simply a way of trying to evaluate attitude, it is therefore also important that you give me an idea of your gender and age group. Statistics go a long way in anthropology!
I have absolutely no interest in identifying you, so no need for names thanks.
The more of you who can complete this survey the better. Once I have been able to identify some attitude patterns I can compile a list of questions to help me interview the people on the other side of the fence - the celebrities themselves.
I am completing the survey too, and as my favourite celebrities are Roxy Music it may give a clue as to whom I would like to pose the questions.
It would be great if you could all help me in this project and I'll post results of my findings later. I'm pretty sure they'll make fascinating reading.
Thanks everyone for your help.
